A Step-by-Step Guide to Find the Perfect Fit for Your MUOV Bike

We'll walk you through the process of choosing your ideal bike frame size and stem length to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience.

Step 1: Measure Your Height and Inseam

Start by measuring your height and inseam accurately. Your height is the distance from the floor to the top of your head, while your inseam is the distance from the floor to your crotch.

Step 2: Locate Your Measurements on the Graph

Our handy graph will be your best friend in this journey. Here's how to use it:

  • Vertical Axis (Left Side): Find your measured height on the vertical axis labelled "Height" and mark it with a reference point (e.g. a dot or line).
  • Horizontal Axis (Bottom): Locate your inseam measurement on the horizontal axis labelled "Inseam" and mark it with another reference point.

Step 3: Determine Your Fitting Zone

The colourful points on the graph represent different frame sizes:

  • Blue Zone: "Small Road Frame"
  • Green Zone: "Medium Road Frame"
  • Red Zone: "Large Road Frame"
  • Purple Zone: "Large Road Frame Long Stem"

Where your height and inseam measurements intersect with these coloured points will indicate your fitting zone.

Step 4: Choose Your Frame Size

Based on your fitting zone:

  • If your reference points are in the blue zone, a "Small Road Frame" might be your best bet.
  • If they fall within the green zone, consider a "Medium Road Frame."
  • For the red zone, a "Large Road Frame" could be your ideal match.
  • If your points are in the purple zone, you might want to explore a "Large Road Frame with a Long Stem."

Step 5: Determine Stem Length

Now that you've identified your recommended frame size, let's talk about stem length. Stem length is the vertical distance between 60mm at the bottom and 120mm at the top of each block at the same angle as each frame.

Choose your stem length based on your comfort and riding style. Longer stems offer a more stretched-out and aerodynamic position, while shorter stems provide a more upright and comfortable posture.

Step 6: Test Ride and Fine-Tune

Once you've ordered and set up your bike at home, it's time for a test ride. Ensure that you feel comfortable and in control while cycling. Fine-tune your setup for maximum comfort and performance.

Remember that finding the right frame size and stem length can greatly enhance your cycling experience, so take the time to explore your options and enjoy your riding experience!

The graph above is reproduced from the original guide and plots rider heights from about 152cm to 211cm. MUOV's current published rider range for the production bike is 152–200cm. If your measurements sit near either end of the graph, confirm your size with MUOV before ordering.
